I have though for a while to do some sort of recap or compilation from the vast amount of un-edited shooting videos. I finally managed to get myself to do it, as I’m instructing an IPSC beginners course next weekend and these kinds of demo-videos will be a good addition to the rule-books and slideshows.
Demo 1 is about different start conditions: loaded, chamber empty and unloaded (or “Option 1 through 3”)
Demo 2 has reloads with pistol, shotgun and rifle
And the final video has different “stage challenges” and one example solution for them
Ps. I’m truly sorry about the few scenes that were apparently filmed with a potato..
Here’s a little picture comparison between the Aimpoint Micro H-1 and Bushnell TRS-25 micro red dots.
The first image depicts the difference in light transmission: cheaper TRS-25 filters a lot wider band of red, resulting in a very bluish image through the sight where the Micro H-1 appears almost natural.
Today was yet again very cold weather on the range, but no fingers got frozen as McFadden’s Lightning Grip Loader came to help!
This great little contraption enables you to fill your .22lr AR mags with gloves on and without a need to touch the rounds. Just pour proper amount (25) to the loader, shake a little and then pull the trigger! (25 times ;-P )
Plinker / .22lr : a cheap and fun way to do some training for rifle shooting, but collecting the small brass is a pain in the ass, especially on outdoor ranges, especially on winter when there is snow and all.
